When the first star blindly showed itself in the dark abyss of the night sky, the two fox gods, Fask and Juma, grew bored of the plain marble of green and blue. Juma had talked to Fask about her sculptures of these creatures that looked like them, some were small and some were big. Most made from the red clay and some from brown or even black, and though rare, little white. Fask had gotten an idea and told Juma that he could bring life to her sculptures and they would have something to watch over and maybe entertain them. Juma agreed and showed Fask her best work, twenty red, fiveteen brown, two black, and one white figures. Fask smiled as he cast a spell of life on one of each figure to see how it would work. The white and red were both female and the black and brown where male, over the years they were sucessful, then the black fox fell in love with the red foxess when his desteny was with the white. The brown fox grew angry with the black fox and they had a battle and the black fox had died, Fask found out and was furious but Juma held the god back. Sooner or later, the red and white fox had kits to look after. Juma was disturbed by this since she had told the brown fox to claim one female, he was sentenced to a desert far away from the green meadow the two females where at.
The white fox heard about what happened and followed the brown with her kits falling behind her. Some as they grew stayed in places they thought were best leaving their mother until only two followed her footfalls. She found her love and they raised another litter while the other kits had more kits and soon the whole world seemed over populated. Fask and Juma could not watch all of the foxes of diffrent colors and Juma made better prediters and some prey animals which Fask turned to life and sent to earth. The foxes were suddenly being killed one by one the gods plan had worked and new animals kept the fox population under control for a time. Now they are concentrating their attention to some foxes who actually had made clans because of their low prey supply and their feirce compitition. The wolves told them about raising young together and hunting just for their clan, now their supreme masters are three wolves and three clans have came from this knowledge. This is where we start, welcome to Nocternal Den.

OOC|| uh oh, Hidan, bad move....^^

Sarei shrugged in reply to Kito's explanation. What had really caught his attention was the other fox in the clearing; he seemed not to have taken a liking to him. Sarei turned from the Wolf and faced the icy gray fox, who's glare was hard and cold.

"Why are you in Jashin clan territory Sarei,"

Sarei took his time answering, enjoying making him wait. After a moments pause he replied. "I'm not all that sure. But by the way you seem to take to loners, I'd guess I better get moving. Not worth joining, what'd ye call it...Jashin," Just as Hidan had spat his name, Sarei did the same.

Hidan narrowed his eyes, fur bristling slightly as he heard the other's voice spit out his clans and gods name. The silver fox gave a hiss that turned into a fierce growl, " Dare speak about the god and my clan again and I'll rip out your throat!" Hidan threatened fur bristling tail whipping at his hindquarters head held low in a crouch ready to spring at the others neck, head crooned so that his neck was hidden among the mass of grey silver fur. He forgot about Kito who was standing by taking both sides the wolf would probably try and separate the two foxes, that would be a problem. Hidan kept his growl snout wrinkled showing his fangs as if that would scare the other into obedience.

Kito sighed, then raised his voice to a level that would rarely be heard outside one of Hidan's arguments,

"BOTH OF YOU, STOP IT!"

The wolf took a deep breath. He rarely raised his voice at all. He knew Hidan would hardly be pleased he had told them to stop, but things weren't likely to get aggressive, Kito was almost twice the size of Hidan and Sarei put together. He spoke again, more calmly this time,

"Hidan, stop acting like a cub. Sarei, if you have no good reason for being here, leave. If you do, stop wasting time and spit it out."

Sarei's fur bristled as Hidan threatened him. He was about to spit back a reply, but Kito raised his voice to be heard above the escalating argument. The bladed wolf snorted, turning his head away from the Leader of Jashin. He had meant it all nicely, but now his temper was flared, and he didn't want it to cool down.

He waited until Kito stopped talking, in which he ended by demanding that he either leave or confess what he was doing here. Feeling miffed, the bladed wolf got to his haunches, turning tail and walking a few paces.

"Well, I'm obviously not welcome, so forget I was ever here. Jashin has enough members to get them by, I'd guess."

He shrugged his shoulders and started forward again slowly without looking back. He took his time, wondering whether Hidan would change his mind, or if he really was exiling himself.

Hidan snapped his jaws as Kito ordered him to stop, the Jashin leader was not pleased. But he turned to Sarei as if to ask scornfully the same question. The bladed fox retreated steps back and basically walked himself out of the terratory. Hidan perked his ears as Sarei mentioned the members of Jashin clan, he mumbled hisses and curses under his breath.

"Sarei." He snapped tail flicking, " We need members, but if you are willing to join us if thats what your leading to. You will need to be merciless and do whatever told no questions asked..." The silver fox growled quietly.

Hidan knew there would be some look of triumph over the other foxes face, Hidans claws dug into the earth and clawed out again. Tail slapping his back legs and he turned to Kito with a short glare, fangs bared in a frown as the silver again looked at the bladed fox, Sarei. Would he accept the offer, or reject? Hopfully he would join and be strong for the clan, maybe more members would join then.

"We need members, but if you are willing to join us if thats what your leading to. You will need to be merciless and do whatever told no questions asked..."

Sarei let out a quiet sigh of relief. No more nights out in the cold, and open. He turned and bowed to Hidan. The silver fox was not too proud to ask for him to join, after their conversation, and that was a sign of a good leader.

"Thankyou, Leader Hidan," he said, tail extended out behind him lightly. "I will be a respectful pack member," he looked the fox in the eyes, meaning all the responsibility he claimed.

A smile crossed Kito's mouth. Well, that was good, at least they wouldn't be killing each other any time soon. Although, Hidan and Sarei weren't exactly pacifists, even if they are of the same clan. He shook his head, and turned to leave the shrine. As he left, he said calmly, "I'll leave you two to sort things out."

Hidan nodded his head a few times at Sarei's words, Jashin clan needed more members. Yet the other clans might have about twenty or more members while he had just a few. Head tilting back up to the sky when Sarei finished and Kito began, the fox looked as Kito left the two now clan brethren, Hidan then said. " Well, I suppose, since the offerings are done. We should hunt for the clan Sarei." He said cooly turning to leave the shrine to look for some mice or rabbit to feed his clan.
